In January 2026, 25 adventure-loving men set out from Chandigarh in a convoy of Toyota Fortuners for an unforgettable journey through the Himalayas with Foxhill Tourism Global Pvt Ltd.
The route took them from Chandigarh → Shimla → Phagu → Kinnaur → Nako → Tabo → Kaza → Rampur → Shimla, taking them deep into the spectacular Spiti Valley.
Known as a cold desert mountain valley, Spiti is famous for its dramatic mountains, remote villages, Buddhist monasteries and fascinating Himalayan culture. Travelling in peak winter added an extra element of adventure, with challenging roads and snow-covered stretches making the journey as memorable as the destination.
One of the highlights was Tabo, home to the historic Tabo Monastery, founded in 996 AD, known for its ancient murals and Buddhist heritage. Nako and Kaza offered further glimpses into the unique culture and lifestyle of the high Himalayas.
But this journey was about more than destinations. It was about 25 friends, powerful 4x4s, shared experiences, camaraderie and the thrill of exploring the mountains together.
